Regus offers affordable workplaces amidst high Kampala rentals
November 1, 2018—Office realtor, Regus Uganda, wants to cash in on Kampala’s many vacant spots at ideal locations, by offering affordable packages, especially for upcoming entrepreneurs with small budgets.
“This is a new concept in Uganda, but there is growth in demand. More people are looking for a convenient, flexible workplace that offers good internet connection, furniture, a well equipment refreshment kitchen and a good working community that has people with the same networks,” Brian Tabaruka, the Regus Location Manager for Uganda said on Wednesday.
He was talking during a discussion on the ‘Future of Workplace in Kampala’ amidst relatively high rents and a construction boom for commercial property.
Currently Regus Uganda offers both shared and private workplaces at rates ranging from $100 to $350 per month. However some landlords are asking for as much as $800 per month.
Regus has three locations at Acacia Mall, Course View Towers and Lourdel Towers, with a total workspace of 2500 square metres. The company is targeting owners of small enterprises looking for sophisticated, flexible and well-equipped workplaces that are affordable and provide more than just space.
